 Air Quality The air we breathe is the ultimate common good. Air pollution respects no governmental boundaries. If our local jurisdictions cannot work together to improve air quality, the environmental costs will be distributed to everyone. The Civic League works to help citizens understand their role in helping solve the region’s air quality problems by driving less, joining car and van pools, using transit, etc. In addition, it helps everyone use their voice to persuade regional leaders to take unpopular but necessary steps to clean the region’s air, and to keep it clean. |
