Don't forget: Plan 2040 Forum on Nov. 9
The Civic League continues its series of Plan 2040 Neighborhood Forums on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Christ the King Lutheran Church (5575 Peachtree Parkway, Norcross GA 30092). Plan 2040 is the Atlanta Regional Commission's plan to guide the region's economic and population growth sustainably over the next 30 years. With a projected population increase of around 3 million people, there is a lot to consider -- How will we get around? How much farther out (or up) should our communities grow? How do we balance what we want against what we really need? Planners from ARC will be on hand to explain Plan 2040 and answer questions; they also want to hear your feedback. This event is free, though registration is requested by Nov. 5.
