Strong neighborhoods are the foundation of a strong region. That’s the idea behind The Civic League’s first annual Neighborhood Summit, “Neighborhood Connections, Regional Voices,” on Saturday, Sept. 12 in Downtown Atlanta. This daylong event is designed to bring representatives from the 10-county region’s well over 1000 neighborhoods together to learn about tools for building cohesive neighborhoods, share best practices from their own experiences and meet informally with county commissioners to discuss community issues.
